The Spogan online dog training story started 15 years ago when my husband & I took home our first working line adoptee – a border collie – 8 years old, never lived in a house, didn’t know how to play, scared of everything… So we started to learn about dog behaviour, training and discovered what actually worked practicallly to help our dog.
Since then we have kept learning as much as we could, and kept adopting challenging dogs (biters, reactors, those classed as untrainable) and retraining with what we now know works.
I’m please to tell you the dogs who were in the ‘last chance saloon’ due to their behavIour, are now excellent stooge dogs helping train other dogs!
